About Dolphia Arnstein

Dolphia's journey into the world of creativity began at the age of three with painting, a passion that eventually led her to photography and videography. Her professional career as a visual storyteller started in 2012, and by 2015, she was collaborating with leading stock agencies to create compelling imagery that resonates with audiences and elevates brands.

Growing up in Kolkata, India, Dolphia was inspired by her family's values of education and creativity. Her father, Ajoy Nandi, is a former professor of economics at Calcutta University and the author of 40 renowned textbooks on the subject. Her mother, a creative and resourceful homemaker, encouraged her to find beauty in everyday life. These influences shaped Dolphia's disciplined and creative approach to her craft.

After moving to the United States, Dolphia earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University at Buffalo and later completed another Master’s in Liberal Arts from Harvard University. She effectively combines her technical skills with her artistic vision to produce precise and impactful work. As a UX Designer for the City of Cambridge, Dolphia adopts a meticulous approach to project management, which enhances her photography and videography projects.

Now based in Boston, Dolphia lives with her husband, Matthew, and their young daughter. When she is not behind the camera or designing user experiences, she enjoys painting, hiking, biking, and curating beautiful spaces. These passions fuel her creativity and inspire her to bring fresh perspectives to every project.

Dolphia specializes in food and beverage photography and excels in lifestyle, branding, and product shoots. She has worked with over 200 brands, delivering high-quality visuals tailored to their unique needs. Whether capturing still moments or dynamic videos, Dolphia’s work is characterized by artistry, precision, and passion.
